Easy to setup, took me about 10 minutes to getting it turned on and linked to my WiFi and iPhone app I can see problems for users who aren’t tech savvy (eg like aging parents). I could see my parents calling me through out the whole process, especially the update part.
It would be useful for the company to provide a “heads up” to users that the camera would be out of commission when the camera goes through the initial firmware update. That process took about an hour (on broadband cable l) and you can’t do anything with the camera once that process starts.
It would have been nice if the company provided an option to confirm if you wanted to start the update process as there was no way to stop the process. Simple product mgmt design perspective that they should have considered as well
Overall, pretty satisfied with the the camera and it’s high quality video.
